Ingredients -
4 lb whole chicken, quartered
1 stalk celery, chopped
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1 onion, chopped
1 can white beans
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1 zucchini, chopped
12 cups water
½ teaspoon chili powder
¼ cup light cream
Preparation:
Remove the excess fat from the chicken and chop it.
Put the 12 cups of water in an 8 quart pot and bring it to the boil.
Add the chicken, chili powder, white beans, and vegetables and season the soup.
