Easy Recipe for Mexican Chicken Soup

This Mexican chicken soup recipe is flavored with chili sauce, spices, and vegetables and it is easy to make. Mexican Chicken Soup with Leek

Ingredients -

3 ˝ oz skinless, boneless chicken, shredded
1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
1 pint chicken broth
˝ leek, sliced
˝ onion, chopped
1 tablespoon canola oil
2 teaspoons butter
1 tablespoons white flour
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Dash of chili sauce
Salt and white pepper, to taste

Preparation:

Heat the butter in a skillet and fry the leek and onion until soft.

Keep them warm.

Cook the shredded chicken in the pan until tender.

Add it to the leek and onion and keep warm.

Heat the oil in the same pan and add the cumin seeds.

Sauté them until fragrant.

Add the chopped garlic and sauté for a minute, then add the flour and stir fry for a minute. Add the chicken pieces, chicken broth, chili sauce, salt, and pepper and cook on medium while stirring all the time, for about 5 minutes.

Serve with whole wheat bread.
